Cancellation Policy

1. Deposit Non-Refundability

Deposits paid for any social event, trip, or competition are strictly non-refundable. The deposit secures your venue space and covers non-recoverable initial administration and fishery booking costs.

2. Cancellations After Full Payment

If you cancel your attendance after paying in full, Reel Hookers cannot offer a direct refund. In this situation:

• You are solely responsible for finding a replacement angler to take your place.
• Payment for the place must be arranged directly between you and the replacement angler.
• You must notify the Reel Hookers admin team immediately with the replacement angler's full details for gate/entry approval.

3. Payment Plan Defaults & Final Balances

Final balance payments must be settled 6 to 8 weeks prior to the event start date.

• If you fail to pay your final balance on or before the due date, your spot will be forfeited without a refund.
• Defaulting on agreed payment plans will result in payment plan options being permanently revoked for future bookings.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds or partial credits are generally not offered. Exceptions are made solely under extreme or unforeseen circumstances, and any refund request must be submitted in writing. Approval is granted at the sole discretion of the Reel Hookers admin team.

5. Event Cancellation by Organizers

If an event or competition is cancelled due to reasons beyond our control (such as severe weather, natural disasters, lake closures, or fish spawning):

• For competitions, any prize money pool will be divided equally among entered anglers and refunded.
• We will attempt to reschedule the event or transfer bookings to an alternative date where possible.

6. Need Help Finding a Replacement?

If you are unable to attend and need to find a replacement angler, please reach out in our official WhatsApp group or contact an admin. While we cannot guarantee a replacement, we will gladly broadcast the slot to our reserve list.
